Community Center
The Community Center, owned and operated by the Town of Pierson, is available to rent for parties and public events. It is located at 124 W. Washington Avenue and will accommodate up to 100 people.
Amenities include:
- Fully functional kitchen
- Bathrooms
- 12 tables
- 99 chairs
- Heat/air conditioning
- Public playground and walking park located behind the Community Center
Rental Fees
- $400.00 deposit
- $213.00 per day ($200.00 rent + $13.00 tax) for Pierson residents
- $319.50 per day ($300.00 rent + $19.50 tax) for non-Pierson residents
- $106.50 per day ($100.00 rent + $6.50 tax) for Meeting Room use
- $53.25 per day ($50.00 rent + $3.25 tax) for Meeting Room cleaning fee
Verification of residency will be conducted prior to rental.
A deposit by cash or check is required along with the completed Reservation Form when the reservation is requested. The rental fee will be due prior to or upon receiving the key to the Community Center. Deposit payments made by check will be deposited the next day.
The deposit will be refunded in full once it has been verified that the building is free of damages or missing items and has been cleaned appropriately. If the Community Center is not left clean or is damaged in any way, the entire deposit will not be returned. All trash must be removed from the property and may be placed in the dumpster located at the ball fields/rodeo grounds at Chipper Jones Park next to the Community Center.
- Renters must leave the Community Center premises by midnight to avoid the loss of your deposit.
- No alcohol is allowed. Any evidence of alcohol consumption on premises will result in the loss of your deposit.
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the date reserved in order for your deposit to be fully returned. Cancellations made within the 48 hour period will be charged $50.00.
